Benjamin Zweig is a documentary film editor and educator committed to bringing historical depth and nuance to filmmaking. Ben recently completed a Masters of Arts degree in Journalism at the University of Missouri (’25), focusing on documentary theory and production. This thesis film is about a group of women whose 40-year friendship is sustained through their shared love of Mahjongg. He is currently developing his graduate research on gay liberation cinema into a feature film. His recent professional work includes editing the Hulu Original documentary The Lady Bird Diaries, which premiered at SXSW in 2023.
